This 3,375-foot adrenaline-pumping ride is situated at the Golden Skybridge, and it’s not just any mountain coaster – it’s the first of its kind in Western Canada and the fastest and largest in the whole country!

As if Canada’s highest suspension bridge weren’t impressive enough, Pursuit, the company behind Columbia Icefield Skywalk, Banff Gondola, Lake Minnewanka and Maligne Lake Boat Cruises, continues to up the ante.

Picture this: you’re racing through an ancient forest nestled between Canada’s two highest suspension bridges. The coaster takes you 1,180 feet up the canyon before you speed down 2,195 feet, reaching a zippy 40 km/h. You’ll be whooshing under a lush canopy, swirling around a 360-degree loop, zooming through a 50-foot tunnel, and finally bursting out onto a cantilever with a jaw-dropping view of the Columbia Valley.

The best part? You can choose your own adventure! Per the news release, the Railrider Mountain Coaster’s state-of-the-art technology offers safety features to accommodate every comfort level.

Pursuit partnered with ADG, an expert attractions company, to make this dream a reality – the same folks who are behind the Cliffside Coaster at Lake Placid and the Rocky Mountain Coaster at Copper Mountain.

Railrider Mountain Coaster is located in Golden in southeast British Columbia, 90 minutes from Banff, and is surrounded by six Canadian national mountain parks.
