Canadian Food Inspection Agency says more salad kits are included in the chopped salad kits recall issued on August 24th.
The salad kits are recalled due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
Consumers who have purchased the kits should not eat them and are urged to throw them out or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
CFIA says though the food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes will make you sick even if they may not look or smell spoiled.

Pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems are particularly at risk for Listeria poisoning and symptoms include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness.
CFIA says though the infected pregnant women may experience only mild, flu-like symptoms, the infection can lead to premature delivery, infection of the newborn or even stillbirth.
The CFIA website states there have been no reported injuries associated with the products.
