Cambridge Fall Fair 2026 brings Grease tribute, Demolition Derby and Family Fun

The Cambridge Fall Fair will return to Dickson Park from September 10 to 13, 2026, bringing four days of amusement rides, live entertainment, demonstrations, vendors, and family activities to Cambridge.

The annual event has a history spanning more than 180 years and combines traditional fall fair attractions with concerts, a demolition derby and children’s entertainment. This year’s program includes a Grease-themed tribute performance, a live set by Seven Sundays, tethered hot air balloon rides, and appearances by Doug The Great Stiltwalker.

 

The fair will run for four days, with free general admission on Thursday and Sunday and paid admission on Friday and Saturday.

Visitors can expect midway attractions, live performances, food vendors, community displays, and scheduled entertainment throughout Dickson Park. The midway will open at 4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

 

Campbell’s Amusements will provide the fair’s rides and games. The Dickson Centre will also host the Marketplace, featuring vendors, crafts, and displays, while food vendors will operate across the fairgrounds.

A designated beer garden will operate during the event, including from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Alcohol purchased at the fair must be consumed within the designated beer garden, and valid proof of age will be required. Outside alcohol is prohibited on the fairgrounds.

What is new and what more to see & do:

Thursday’s program includes free tethered hot air balloon rides from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., weather permitting. The rides are being offered with support from the Blair Hibbs Home Selling Team.

On Friday, Seven Sundays will perform live on the main stage at 6 p.m. The evening’s main event, the Impact Motorsports Demolition Derby, is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

 

Saturday evening will feature “Grease Is the Word!”, a tribute featuring music from Grease. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m., with The Doo Wop Boyz featuring Pauly and the Greaseballs appearing as the opening act.

Children’s programming will include Doug The Great Stiltwalker, who is scheduled to perform from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Karaoke will also be part of the weekend program.

Sunday’s activities include a baby show with a 1950s and 1960s theme, along with other family entertainment.

Other information

Backpacks will not be permitted inside the fairgrounds. Pets, knives, sharp objects, drones, remote-controlled toys and RC vehicles are also prohibited.

Weather conditions may affect fair operations. Organizers say individual rides or sections of the park may close during high winds, rain, or lightning and may reopen once conditions are considered safe. Rain cheques and refunds will not be issued for weather-related ride or park closures.

Where is the event

The Cambridge Fall Fair will be held at Dickson Park, 30 Park Hill Road West in Cambridge, Ontario.

Visitors travelling from outside Cambridge via Highway 401 can head south on Hespeler Road and continue toward the park after crossing the bridge near Cambridge Mill.

On-site parking costs $10 on Friday and Saturday. Parking is free on Thursday and Sunday, subject to space availability.

When is the event

 

The fair runs from Thursday, September 10 to Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Operating hours are:

  • Thursday, September 10: 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Friday, September 11: 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 12: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Sunday, September 13: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

One section of the event information lists a 10 p.m. closing time on Saturday, while the main schedule lists 11 p.m. Visitors planning to stay late on Saturday should confirm the final closing time with organizers.

What is the cost

General admission is free for all ages on Thursday and Sunday.

On Friday and Saturday, admission is $15 per person for visitors aged 11 and older and $10 for children aged 10 and younger. Infants aged two and younger are admitted free.

Organizers have advised parents to bring proof of age for children. If a child’s age cannot be verified when requested at the gate, the adult admission price may be charged.

A $30 SuperSaver pass is also available and includes admission and all-day rides. Advance passes can be purchased online or in person at Build A Bucket, 507 Dolph Street North; Country Girl Family Restaurant, 561 Hespeler Road; and RPM Automotive, 225 Elgin Street North. In-person advance ticket purchases at those locations are cash only.

The four-day fair offers visitors a chance to take in the rides, entertainment, and community activities at Dickson Park.
