- Enjoy your time alone at Gallagher Park with Edmonton Skyline as your company!
- Hit the Farmers Market: Visit Farmers Markets around Edmonton! Stock up on fresh fruits, vegetables, and handmade jewelry, or taste all of the delicious sample of pesto, cheese and jam!
- Walk across High Level Bridge: Start at the Edmonton Legislature grounds, and walk across the High Level Bridge to 109 Street. Every night, the bridge is lit with stunning multicolored lights. Enjoy panoramic views of downtown and the river, and then head to Highlevel Diner or Sugar Bowl for a drink or appetizers.
- Hike Whitemud Ravine: Be transported to an exotic urban wildlife viewing pathway as you hike the ravine. You can spot a variety of birds, coyotes, frogs and even an occasional moose! You can choose from easy well maintained trails or more difficult ones!
- Check out the art on 124: Check out the murals, or the galleries along 124 Street! If you feel
hungry, stop by Northern Chicken or if it is desserts that you crave, then Duchess Bake Shop should be your destination! - Take a 45 minute guided tour of the Alberta Legislature Building and learn all about the rich history of government in Alberta. Or stroll through the grounds on your own, and then head to The Common for drinks and appetizers after your walk.
- Walk or Bike through the River Valley: Get outside into the fresh air for a leisurely walk through the river valley. If you’d rather bike, you can bring your own or rent one from River Valley Adventure Co. and then wrap the evening up with drinks at Woodwork or Craft Beer Market.

- Play pool at Top Shot: Watch sports, play pool, hit some ping pong balls or throw some darts and make new friends at this new place located next to Millwoods Town Centre.

- Check out public artworks in Borden Park. Did you know that the Borden Park Pavilion won 2018 Governor General’s Medals in Architecture?

If you are on a date, grab a cafeteria style breakfast and sit in the indoor seating area that overlooks the whole market, or share a hotdog from the outdoor hotdog cart.
- Head over to the Garneau Theater for a movie, candy, popcorn and a drink. The theatre specializes in well-loved classics, independent films, and anime.
- Check out new artists and discover famous paintings at the Art Gallery of Alberta, located in the heart of downtown Edmonton. Tuesday and Wednesday evenings are free from 5-8pm.

They have regular outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, biking, inline skating, canoeing, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, as well as social events, and special events such as white water rafting, and caving. A majority of their events take place in the Edmonton area.

- Spend some time along the pathway of poems: How many poems can you relate to as you walk along one of the Meadows Community League’s Poetry Pathways! Around 100 poems by Edmonton poets have been sandblasted into sidewalks of the Measows Community!
