Children Golf Free at Participating Courses in Canada This Month

Children under the age of 16 can play golf for free at hundreds of courses across Canada when accompanied by a paying adult, as part of the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) Canada’s “Take A Kid To The Course” program.

This initiative is available at a wide range of participating golf courses nationwide.

Running from July 7 to 13, 2025, the program is designed to encourage families to spend time outdoors and introduce children to the sport in an accessible way.

Families can locate participating courses using an interactive map online and are encouraged to contact individual courses directly to book tee times and check availability. The program caters to experienced golfers as well as those new to the game.

Participants in the program are also eligible to enter a contest to win one of four premium junior golf club sets, courtesy of The Toro Company.
