Airdrie is ready to celebrate Canada Day this July 1! It will be a full day of celebration on July 1, 2023!

  • Pancake breakfast, 8 – 10 a.m.
    The day begins with indigenous blessing by Elder Virgle Stephens, Stoney Nakoda First Nation. Get your hands on some pancakes and maple syrup just before finding a spot to watch the Canada Day Parade. Located at Safeway Parking Lot hosted by the Airdrie Kin Club non-profit organization.
  • Canada Day Parade, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Join the crowds to line the streets and wave flags at community master float builders. With participants from over 80 local businesses and community groups, you’ll always spot someone you know! Parade Marshal: Airdrie athlete, Emily Vigneault
  • Canadian music concert, 12 – 3 p.m.: Enjoy a spectacular FREE music concert with two Country Music Award (CMA) winning bands at Nose Creek Regional Park after the Canada Day Parade.

  • Airdrie Pro Rodeo, 2:30 p.m.
    Join in the fun at the Airdrie Rodeo Grounds! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the rodeo from the grassy hill; or sit in the bleachers provided. Every seat gets you closer to the action like you’ve never seen before! It’s a great way to introduce the next generation to the exciting sport of rodeo!
  • Music and fireworks, 8 – 11:05 p.m.
    Head over to Chinook Winds Regional Park and enjoy dancing to music before experiencing a dazzling 20 minute fireworks show. A great way to end the day with this annual tradition.The crowd favourite 20-minute fireworks display beigns at 10:45 p.m

    How does one get out of the inside of the parade route when all the streets are blocked. Plane to catch!!!!!
