Alberta Day at Heritage Park (Drone Show)

Celebrate Alberta Day with Heritage Park and the Government of Alberta on Sunday, Aug. 30! Enjoy family-friendly entertainment, live music, activities and more in celebration of Alberta’s community, culture and heritage. Experience the sights, sounds, and smells of Alberta’s history, join in engaging activities and end the day with a spectacular live drone show in the Historical Village. Rally your friends and family, mark your calendars and join us for a day you won’t forget!

• Enjoy live music across three unique stages, featuring country, folk, rock, R&B, soul, blues, bluegrass and more — capped off with Canadian country star Kyle McKearney at 8 p.m.
• Catch multi-cultural performances and entertainment, including Indigenous and Ukrainian dancing, traditional drumming and more.
• Midway thrills on the S.S. Moyie, Steam Train and Antique Midway
• Explore the entire Historical Village and hop aboard an authentic Steam Train!
• Made-in-Alberta marketplace with artisan finds
• Drone show finale at 9 p.m. over Celebration Field
• Finally, end the day’s celebration with a spectacular drone show before heading home.

No ticket. No admission fee. Just show up and celebrate!

Pre-register to skip the line.

Nobody will be turned away, but we highly recommend pre-registering in advance. There is a limit of four admission tickets per online transaction.

Antique Midway: $15 (GST exempt). Ride bracelets are required and available both online and on-site. Capacity is limited — we recommend purchasing in advance.
S.S Moyie: $5 (GST exempt). Tickets available on-site only. Capacity is limited.

FREE Parking & Shuttle locations:

1. Anderson CTrain Station: FREE Parking at Anderson CTrain Station (subject to availability). Complimentary shuttle buses run to and from Heritage Park every 10 minutes. See below for the full schedule.

2. Mount Royal University (MRU): FREE Parking at MRU in Lots A, B, 8 and the East Gate Parkade (subject to availability). Complimentary shuttle buses run to and from Heritage Park every 10 minutes. Full schedule will be available soon.
