Events Description
This October, head to the Burnswest Theatre for big screen showing of Love. Sex. Religion—a film tackling cultural taboos with unflinching honesty produced and directed by local filmmaker Ejiro Onobrakpor as part of the Black Excellence Film Series, a collaboration between Woezo Africa Music & Dance Theatre Inc. and The Confluence.
After the film, learn more about the film and Onobrakpor’s experiences in filmmaking with a panel discussion hosted by Wunmi Idowu, founder and director of Woezo Africa Music & Dance Theatre Inc. and curator of the Black Excellence Film Series.
