Calgary Dragon Boat Festival

Stemmed by a 2000-year-old Chinese legend, Dragon Boat Racing is still very active and remains a tradition to this day. As Calgary’s premier sports festivals, the Calgary Dragon Boat Race & Festival draws +1850 competitors, +4000 spectators and an abundance of excitement and cultural experiences.

The dragon boat competition illustrates comradery, teamwork, and inspiration. FREE Admission, with kids zone, multi-cultural entertainment, live band, food trucks, merchants, beer gardens and dragon boat racing too. On Saturday, a Breast Cancer Race & Ceremony and on Sunday, Dragon Boat Charity Race to raise awareness & funds for Give a Mile.
