Hosted at North Glenmore Park, this high-energy event brings together over 1,850 paddlers, more than 4,000 spectators, and an incredible lineup of entertainment, food, and family activities. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, this is a festival you won’t want to miss!

Now entering its 34th year, the Calgary Dragon Boat Society is proud to continue its tradition of celebrating community, sport, and culture through this iconic summer event. And the best part? Admission is completely free!

Our Kid’s Play Zone is the perfect place for families with little ones to relax, play, and enjoy interactive activities designed for children of all ages. It’s safe, fun, and full of excitement — just one more reason the Dragon Boat Festival is one of Calgary’s top family-friendly events!
