Join us for Cochrane’s biggest celebration of the year! The 2026 Town of Cochrane Canada Day Celebration is happening Tuesday July 1 at Mitford Park—and you won’t want to miss it!

Get ready for a full day of family-friendly fun, starting at Noon and running straight through to our spectacular FIREWORKS finale at 10:45pm.

The Children’s Theatre Stage, presented by the Black Box Theatre Guild, will showcase performances by the Kinkonauts, CowTown Brass Band, Gustavo, and the Triple Fun Show.

The stage will be rocking all day with performances by Cochrane favourites.

    Where does Cochrane put its money paid by tax payers and donations from community and gov.. They can’t afford a pancake breakfast or parade on Canada Day. Who runs this place and who makes decisions for a few that live here. Sounds like a cheap place run by cheap people lining someones pockets.
