Events Description

Join CCMF Alberta in our 2nd Annual Footsteps for Fathers Walk and Fundraiser event.

Footsteps for Fathers brings men, families, and communities together to raise awareness about the emotional distress that men face when relationship breakdown occurs.

Your participation will fund Fueling Fathers, a workshop and webinar series geared toward boosting fathers’ parenting capacity, confidence, and mental health and wellness.

WHY THIS WALK IS IMPORTANT…

CCMF Alberta believes men should be met where they’re at and supported in building their capacity to be better dads, workers, and community members.

Our programs and approach to engaging with our clients are grounded in these guiding principles: compassion, belonging, and agency for men. These programs equip men to manage stressful situations, rebuild themselves, and minimize the chances of escalating to an acute mental health crisis.

The need is great.

Men face the realities of relationship breakdown in a way that is unique.

Improving men’s mental health empowers them to be engaged dads, safer workers, and contributing members of their communities.

Help CCMF Alberta grow!

We will walk as a community on Father’s Day. Registration allows you to join Footsteps for Fathers at Edworthy Park or register to join virtually from wherever you live across Alberta and beyond!

Join our walk on Sunday, June 18th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Picnic Site 9 to take steps for the fathers and men in our community.
