Events Description

Calgarians & Albertans are invited to participate in the 2017 edition of the Calgary Franco Festival. This one day event featuring arts and culture from many Francophone communities living in and around Calgary. FFC allows us to share cultures and strengthen the bonds that unite us all.

These festivities revolve around family values, with a multi-arts pavilion run by local craftsmen and artists, a children’s playground, various workshops and food vendors, all complemented by music and dance performances .

You will discover local and national artists such as Rob Lennard, Cowboy, Sympa César, Aude Ray, Los Marineros de la Rumba, Peter Ngom, Plamedie Katusevanako and Cat Kidd. Our dance artists include Woezo Africa Music and Dance Theater, Jieng Traditional Dance Group and Haitian Dance Group.
