Ready to make your own ceramic travel tumbler — perfect for iced summer drinks? In this beginner-friendly 2-hour handbuilding workshop, you’ll use slab-building techniques to craft a one-of-a-kind to-go tumbler, complete with a functional lid designed for sipping or adding a straw.
Add texture, build unique attachments, and make your tumbler truly yours.
Pottery instruction will be provided, no experience is necessary. The instructor will walk you through step by step instruction on how to build your masterpiece with clay by hand. Create something special that you can enjoy every day, a ceramic cup partially closed on one side (for easy cleaning), and a carved spout on the other.
Whether you’re heading to the beach, your local café, or just enjoying your favourite drink on the go — this travel tumbler will keep you cool all summer long.

Notes:
Clay project will be sent home with you to dry 2-3 weeks later you will be able to bring your item back for glazing/firing (included) or you can opt to paint your creations with underglaze paints for $15/item. No reservation needed for paint day (simply avoid sold out event days).
Pop in at time of event or up to 15 minutes before your session starts. Late participants will lose out of important instructions.
* No outside food or drink is permitted. Additional food/drink + treats may be purchased at the venue. Color Cafe has a delicious drinks and food menu to select from!
