An annual CUFF tradition! This Halloween, the Calgary Underground Film Festival returns to Globe Cinema for our annual 12-Hour Horror Movie Marathon. Stay awake all night and enjoy 7 movies from 7pm until 7am the next morning, including a costume contest, and other surprises throughout the night.

FOOD & CONCESSION:
Globe concession will be open and available all night long
Bar is open until 2 am
Only Debit, Visa, and Mastercard will be accepted at the concession.
CUFF will have additional food & coffee options made avaialble to you as well throughout the night!

All film start times are approximate. Hey, it’s a 12-hour marathon, we might be running a few minutes late. If there’s a film that you don’t want to miss the beginning of we recommend arriving approximately 15 minutes before the suggested start time. There will be a 10-minute intermission between all films.

7:00 pm – THE INVISIBLE MAN (1933)

A scientist finds a way of becoming invisible, but in doing so, he becomes murderously insane.
8:30 pm – THE BURBS (1989)
Director Joe Dante, 102 minutes, mystery/comedy
An overstressed suburbanite and his neighbors are convinced that the new family on the block is part of a murderous Satanic cult.
10:30 pm – TWINS OF EVIL (1971)
Director John Hough, 87 minutes, folk horror/vampire
A religious sect led by Gustav Weil hunts all women suspected of witchcraft, killing a number of innocent victims. Young Frieda, Gustav’s niece, will involve herself in a devilish cult, and become an instrument of Justice in the region.

A group of scientists have developed the Resonator, a machine which allows whoever is within range to see beyond normal perceptible reality. But when the experiment succeeds, they are immediately attacked by terrible life forms.

A mother and son move to a new town to prey on a young woman.
5:20 am – TROLL 2 (1990)

A vacationing family discovers that the entire town they’re visiting is inhabited by goblins, disguised as humans, who plan to eat them.
