Come to Nanton for an amazing time – fireworks, parade, duck race, rodeo and more!

Nanton Round-Up Days is a long weekend filled with so much to do you won’t be able to fit it all in. Although things will still look a little different in 2021, this long-standing tradition is the perfect way to spend Heritage Day weekend.

Friday:
Nanton Promotors Mixed Scramble Golf Tournament at the Nanton Golf Club
Saturday:
Farmers’ Market 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the United Church
10 a.m. Round Up Days Rally JT Foster School – Bucket Brigade, scavenger hunt, 3-legged race, disc golf, dunk tank and more Register on Facebook event or find a Nanton Athletic Society member
10 p.m. to midnight Glow Swim THRC pool
Sunday:
11 a.m. Ministerial Association Worship Service at Centennial Park. Bring a chair
5 p.m. Nanton Nite Rodeo, Ag Grounds
9:45 (dusk) Nanton Boosters and Promoters Fireworks Display at the Lions’ Grove Park – – Fireban/Weather dependent.
Monday:
7 a.m. to 9 a.m Nanton Lions’ Pancake Breakfast at the Community Centre
10 a.m. Nanton Boosters Parade
1 p.m. Nanton Boosters Duck Race at Mosquito Creek, Nanton Campground, duck tickets available around town
3 p.m. Nanton Nite Rodeo Finals at the Ag Grounds
ALL WEEKEND: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bomber Command Museum of Canada, entry by donation
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or later, Antique and Art Walk of Alberta, shops open

Sunday, August 1: 9:45 PM – Fireworks Display at Lions Grove Park/Boomer’s Hill, south end of town (Hwy 2 S)
