Events Description
Each year, A/P hosts a print exchange and exhibition in conjunction with an exciting sale and silent auction fundraiser. Participants from around the globe submit an edition of ten original prints (with a maximum size of 8″ x 10″) to exchange with each other. Two impressions of each edition are retained by A/P to sell and auction to lucky buyers/bidders at affordable rates.
The annual Not So Mini has become our most anticipated event of the year that showcases the work of local and international printmakers, with all funds raised directly supporting A/P’s community programming.
This year we received over 70 editions by artists from:
Calgary, AB; Edmonton, AB; Red Deer, AB; Spruce Grove, AB; Stirling, AB; Stony Plain, AB; High Prairie, AB; Norglenwold, AB; Okotoks, AB; Coldstream, BC; Vancouver, BC; Vernon, BC; Panorama, BC; St. John’s, NL; Toronto, ON; Pickering, ON; Westmount, QC; Montreal, QC; Saskatoon, SK; Regina, SK; Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico; Ohauiti, Tauranga, New Zealand; Antrim, Newtownabbey, UK; Derby, Derbyshire, UK; Sherwood, Arkensas, USA; Little Rock, Arkensas, USA; Ames, Iowa, USA; Waynesville, North Carolina, USA.

How to Purchase/Bid:
First, visit the site and register as a bidder.
After that, you can bid on and purchase as much as you’d like from wherever you are in the world.
Be sure to register early, and to bookmark those special Not So Minis, Collectable Prints, and swag packages that you have your eye on!
Any questions about how to sign up as a bidder can be directed to Jamie at programming@albertaprintmakers.com. I am more than happy to help anyone sign themselves up as a bidder if they reach out.
Gallery Exhibition:
In-person visitors are welcome to view the exhibition this week until the end of the closing reception on December 12.
The works in the exhibition are the auction prints, so after December 12, any of the sold prints will be removed from the wall and given to the highest bidders.
(A/P’s open hours are: Wednesday from 10am – 8pm, and Thursday – Saturday from 10am – 5pm)
We are located at 460 42 Avenue SE, Mohkinstsis/Calgary
Closing Reception:
A/P is pleased to host the Closing Reception for this exhibition on December 12 from 7 – 10pm
This coincides with the time that online bidding closes, so be prepared with your devices to place your online bids! (A/P staff and volunteers will also be present to help you register and bid from our A/P computers if needed).
✨❄️ AND, considering that we’re in a larger location, we will also be hosting some hands-on (and festive!) print activities throughout the night.
Thank you!
Jamie
