Come out and enjoy the freedom of the game at Servus Credit Union Free Soccer Friday! This free drop-in soccer program gives youth of all ages, abilities, and skill levels the chance to stay active, make new friends, and simply enjoy playing soccer—no experience required.
There are no set matches, no coaches, and no adult direction. Whether kids want to organize their own game, practice skills against a wall, or run around and create their own fun, they’re free to play their way.
Unstructured play gives children the opportunity to build self-confidence, develop communication and problem-solving skills, advocate for themselves, and form meaningful friendships. Mixed-age play also encourages empathy, leadership, and learning from one another in a fun, supportive environment.
This program was created to provide an extra opportunity for youth to play the game they love, increase access to sport, encourage physical activity, and celebrate the importance of free play.
Participation is completely free, but a signed parent/guardian waiver is required before youth can take part.
CMSA staff will be on site to help ensure a safe environment. When space allows, a dedicated field will be available for children under 6. Parents are not permitted to participate on the field due to safety and participant insurance requirements. However, one parent may accompany children under 6 to help them get comfortable. If your child requires additional support, please speak with a CMSA staff member on site.
