We are excited to announce the second annual Sport Calgary Winter Festival, taking place on Family Day at the iconic Olympic Oval at the University of Calgary.
The Winter Festival will feature a wide range of activities that cater to all ages and skill levels. Highlights include skating on the Olympic Oval, interactive games, and sporting challenges that allow participants to engage with both familiar and new sports.
Whether you’re racing on the fastest ice in the world, trying out a new sport, or cheering on your family and friends, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
As a FREE, family-friendly event, the Winter Festival invites everyone to be part of the action. Whether you’re participating in the activities yourself or enjoying the day on the sidelines, everyone will have the chance to learn, try, and watch a variety of sports.

Free skate and helmet rentals are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Some ice sports require helmet with full-face cage and hockey or winter gloves.
