The Monster March is a family-friendly fundraising event in support of The Children’s Cottage Society. The Children’s Cottage Society is fundraising to build a new 35,000-square-foot Child and Family Centre in the northwest Calgary community of Montgomery. Over the past decade, the Children’s Cottage Crisis Nursery has had to turn away more children than it has been able to help due to lack of space. The new facility will house an additional 20-bed crisis nursery and will provide a range of programs and services in one convenient location. Together we will ensure children will be cared for during a family crisis.

Monster March Virtual Walk-a-Thon: October 1 – 31, 2021 (Registration Now Open)
We’re inviting Monsters of all ages to dress up, get active, and explore YYC in support of families in need. Put on your scariest, spookiest costume for a neighbourhood walk with the family. Register, collect donations and show us your fiercest, most monstrous looks. Snap a photo, video, or boomerang and share it on Instagram with the hashtag #MONSTERMARCH2021 to enter.

Monster Market + 3 km Bowness March: October 30th, 2021
Families from all over YYC are welcome to register and join in a 3 km march to raise money in support of the Children’s Cottage. The march will go from 10 AM to 12 PM end at the Bowness Community Association, where families can enjoy outdoor activities, entertainment and a local vendor market from 12 PM to 5 PM.
