Tracy and Martina are two fun-loving best friends from Cape Breton.
As their motto suggests, “savin’ money, savin’ time, for gettin’ loaded,” Tracy and Martina are experts when it comes to partying on a dime. Despite living in a rural post-industrial community, these girls always find entertainment and glamour in everyday activities.
Whether they’re playing bingo, getting groceries, shootin’ the sh!t, or going out, Tracy and Martina never miss an opportunity to cake on some makeup and cause a scene.
Tracy’s a fiery Aries, who doesn’t mind starting a fight, or finishing one. She works as an unlicensed aesthetician, doing hair and nails under the table. She is constantly trying to evade the CRA and allegations of staph infections. Tracy was raised by her promiscuous mother, Roxanne, with a lot of help from her grandfather, Poppy.
Nowadays, Tracy busies herself by taking care of her many pets (cats, ferrets, hamsters, and a monitor lizard), gossiping with old folks at Tim Hortons, going for drives with friends, and partying with Martina.
Martina has big Sagittarius energy because even after a divorce, this young mom can’t settle down. She has a 20-year-old son, Geoffri, an 18-year-old daughter, BrandiLynn, and three rottweilers named Taz, Destiny, and (John) Cena.
Martina prides herself on being a fun mom, who wants her kids to see her as more of a friend than a parent, which means there are no rules in her house. Martina loves breeding rottweilers, slot machines, fast songs, and men.
