Events Description

The magical story of The Polar Express comes to life as the train departs Stettler, Alberta, for a one-hour-long round-trip journey to the North Pole.

Set to the sound of the movie soundtrack, passengers relive the magic of the story as they are whisked away on THE POLAR EXPRESS. The evening begins with a Grand Entrance of THE POLAR EXPRESStrain into the station platform and a scene between the Conductor and the young lad who is beginning to lose his belief in the magic of Christmas. THE POLAR EXPRESS experience includes an hour-long train trip and passengers are served hot chocolate, and a cookie treat by dancing and singing chefs and chefs helpers. Following a reading of THE POLAR EXPRESS™ story from the book the train arrives at the North Pole, and Santa and several of his elves board the train, and during return trip walk through each coach giving out the “first gift of Christmas” – a silver sleigh bell – to each child 12 years and under. During this time everyone is invited to join in the singing of Christmas carols. At the end of the journey each family is invited to pickup and take home a souvenir ceramic Polar Express mug.
