Events Description
All Aboard our Christmas Train to Santa Daze in Alliance Alberta on Saturday, December 13th! A magical Christmas Train experience with Santa and his elves, music and much merriment. Bring your skates to join Santa’s Elves on the ice at the local arena, and explore the local Christmas market where you will enjoy a light lunch.
Don’t forget your Christmas wish list, as a visit with Santa is guaranteed. End the evening with a giant bonfire and wiener roast, take in the Parade of Lights and a fabulous fireworks display before catching the train home again.
So catch the spirit of Christmas and join us on the Train to Santa Daze in Alliance.

$50 Adults, Youth $25; Kids 3 & under Free
We will be accepting cash donation, proceeds go to Flagstaff Food Bank.

Date & Time:
Return: 6:30PM (or when fireworks are done)
Schedule for the Day in Alliance
- 1:00 – Train departs from Forestburg (please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to train departure)
- 2:00 pm – train arrives in Alliance
- 2:00 -4:00 pm – Canteen open at Alliance Community Hall; visit Christmas Market & Santa at the Alliance Community Hall, 114 – 1 Ave E
- 3:00 – 5:00 pm – Crafts, Cookie decorating, face painting, ice skating with Mrs. Claus and Turkey Curling at the Sports Complex/Arena (north end of Main Street)
- 3:00 pm – mini train rides for cash donation
- 5:00 pm – Parade of Lights (Main Street)
- 6:00 pm – Fireworks (Sports Grounds)
- 6:30 pm – Train departs Alliance for Forestburg (or after fireworks are all done)
Train arrives back in Forestburg 1 hour after it departs from Alliance.
Ride the rails from Forestburg to Alliance.
Alliance Train loading site is located on the corner of Railway Avenue and 2nd Street on the south end of Main Street in the Village of Alliance, AB- The Former Section House.
