Album Release Concert: Wendy Gregson with Renee McLachlan

This is an album release concert for a new album called ​“Mother Tree” at the Old Strathcona Performing Arts Centre. Wendy Gregson will perform her own original music with her daughter, Renee McLachlan. Notable musicians have joined this project and will perform as well: Jeremiah McDade, Bill Hobson, Stew Kirkwood and Ian Woodman. Bella and Ruby McLachlan sing back up on a very special song written by their great, great grandmother (spans 5 generations). Doors open at 7 pm. There is a concession/​bar available.

Wendy Gregson & Renee Mclachlan are a mother-daughter duo known for their stunning harmonies, soul-stirring lyrics, and a fresh, heartfelt take on contemporary folk. Their sound blends acoustic guitar, guitalele, violin, and cello into a moving musical experience that resonates deeply with audiences.
