Events Description

The 117th Annual Edmonton Music & Speech Arts Festival (formerly known as the Edmonton Kiwanis Music Festival) creates over 2,500 opportunities for over 20,000 music students, actors, musicians, and music lovers to perform in front of an audience and receive professional adjudication.
Come out and see the stars of tomorrow, and help us celebrate over 100 years!

Over 970 single and group entrants (aged 5 to over 70) in over 550 classes will perform and compete during the event.

Choirs, bands, orchestras, singers, pianists, guitarists, harpists, speech/acting students, musical theatre performers, string players, composition students, woodwind players, and brass players will be showcasing, in a variety of classes, what they have learned this year. Some will be recommended to represent Edmonton at the Provincial Music Festival, and some will win Scholarships, but all will share their passion in their chosen discipline.
