Events Description
In Honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the Royal Alberta Museum is hosting a screening of WaaPaKe (Tomorrow) on September 30 at 1:30 pm.
For generations, the suffering of Indian Residential School System Survivors has radiated outward, impacting Indigenous families and communities. Dr. Jules Arita Koostachin’s deeply personal documentary WaaPaKe (Tomorrow) moves beyond intergenerational trauma, with an invitation to unravel the tangled threads of silence and unite in collective freedom and power.
This screening is included with General Admission. Admission to the Royal Alberta Museum is always free for Indigenous Peoples.
