Events Description

Professional, contemporary, innovative productions of the works of William Shakespeare by The Free Will Players.

For the Freewill Shakespeare’s 31st Season we are proud to be presenting Two Gentlemen of Verona and The Winter’s Tale.

A bromance for the ages – The Two Gentlemen of Verona, one of Shakespeare’s earliest comedies, tells the story of two devoted friends, Valentine and Proteus. Devoted that is until both fall for the same love interest and then things get complicated….betrayal, cross-dressing, misunderstandings and comedy ensue.

The Winter’s Tale is a fantastical journey full of jealously, obsession, love, loss, romance and just a touch of magic. This Shakespeare work blends tragedy, romance and comedy to create a moving story of redemption.

Puppet Shows: Let Thou Art Here Theatre introduce you to the play through a fun interactive puppet adaptation. This 15-minute primer will introduce you to the characters, outline the plot points and get the whole family excited about the upcoming show!
