Zombies, final girls, haunted yoga and Pilates from the crypt are taking over an Edmonton gym floor this September.
Graveyard Fitness Club, a new one-day Halloween fitness pop-up, will debut at The Creative Hive on Sunday, September 27, 2026, bringing together five themed fitness experiences, local instructors, immersive Halloween décor and a licensed bar.
Created by Edmonton-based Slade Creative, Graveyard Fitness Club takes inspiration from the creative experiential pop-ups commonly found in larger cities and gives the concept a distinctly spooky fitness twist.
Graveyard Fitness Club will feature five themed sessions throughout the day, each led by experienced local instructors and designed to welcome a range of fitness levels.
The goal is to make Graveyard Fitness Club feel less like spending a day at the gym and more like stepping into a Halloween pop-up.
The Creative Hive will be transformed with immersive décor, including an indoor graveyard-inspired environment, creating plenty of atmosphere and photo opportunities throughout the venue.
Between classes, guests are encouraged to stay and socialize in the event’s licensed lounge, with themed cocktails, mocktails, coffee and other beverages available for purchase.

Halloween-themed dance fitness featuring high-energy movement and horror-inspired music and remixes.
ONE WISH WORKOUT | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
A high-energy bootcamp designed to get participants moving, sweating and having fun.
Final Girl Conditioning | 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
A full-body functional workout inspired by the strength and resilience of horror cinema’s final survivors.
Pilates from the Crypt | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Low-impact strength and core training surrounded by a gothic Halloween atmosphere.
Haunted Yoga | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
A slow, candlelit flow set against an eerie backdrop to close out the evening.
Guests can choose the class that suits them best — or make a day of it and experience more than one.
