Events Description
Nothing is more festive than a parade during the Holiday Season! Come join us for some fun and holiday spirit on Kingsway! The Big Guy in the Red Suit will be hitching a ride to Kingsway Mall where he will be dropped off.
The parade will take part on the south side of Kingsway, heading eastbound towards Kingsway Mall. There are many areas you can safely sit with your family to view.
We encourage you to bundle up and be ready to enjoy the holiday parade with us and wish you the Happiest Holiday Season!
Don’t forget to bring a can of food for Edmonton’s Food Bank!

Kingsway Holiday Parade will start at the east Airport Road entrance (across from Superstore) and make its way along Kingsway and ends at Kingsway Mall where Santa will be visiting.
The parade will take part on the south side of Kingsway, heading eastbound towards Kingsway Mall. There are many areas you can safely sit with your family to view.
The optimum viewing area will be along Kingsway starting from the Superstore to the corner of 109 Street, as the parade will be traveling along the South side of the road, heading East towards Kingsway Mall. There is plenty of room along Airway Park to set up your chairs!
Road Closures: Begin approx. 4:30 pm and will reopen immediately after the last float has reached the end (approx. 6 pm).

I have nothing against a good parade but this parade route was a complete disaster, nobody could get in or out of kingsway mall, they shut down the whole mall on the busiest weekend of the year, there has to be a way better route for Santa and rest of us.
