Events Description

LitFest celebrates life stories, politics, science, art and fine wine through a series of performances and intimate conversations with notable authors. We tackle big ideas at more than thirty events in downtown Edmonton and throughout the region. LitFest brings together authors representing many facets of nonfiction literature for a two-week festival, scheduled between Thanksgiving and Hallowe’en each year.

Litfest also includes a Community Access Program, supported by Edmonton Community Foundation.

In addition to the free noon hour events, ALL ticketed LitFest events will hold a small number of admissions at each venue to be available at no cost (or, at the ticket-holder’s discretion, by donation).
