Join us for an affectionate salute to composers who call Alberta home. Enjoy a unique variety of orchestral styles by three generations of contemporary creators. You’ll experience world premieres by local student Annika Schoenhardt and Cree composer Cris Derksen, alongside music inspired by lunar tides (Estacio), contemporary multitasking (Fung), the Great Lakes (Toews), and sunlight dancing through ice crystals (Bell). Music Director Jean-Marie Zeitouni conducts this special concert of music by friends and neighbours.
Who is it for?
ESO New Music concerts are recommended for ages 8 and up. Children 3 years of age and under will not be admitted.
