Events Description

This popular event ignites the festive season with thousands of candles along the paths of the Kurimoto Japanese Garden in a breathtaking display – a quiet oasis of peace and light.

Stroll through candle-lit pathways, ice sculptures, delightful “snow sprites” and experience the Aga Khan Garden, Alberta in winter.

Throughout December 2020, you can expect the traditional elements of the Luminaria you love – candlelight, starlight, peace and tranquility. And you can expect to be dazzled by what’s new – the spirit of Luminaria, living on in a transformed experience.

Northern Light Dining Experience:

The Northern Light Dining Experience includes a three-course gourmet fondue served in one of our unique, private, charmingly decorated indoor spaces. You and your group of up to six will have exclusive access to your dining space for the evening. Before or after your meal, you can enjoy snowy illuminated pathways of Luminaria, sip some apple cider by a bonfire, and revel in the beauty of winter.
