The Chinese Graduate Association of Alberta is hosting a vibrant Lunar New Year Festival at Kingsway Mall, offering a rich showcase of Chinese culture and arts.
The festival includes a comprehensive program of family-friendly performances, games, workshops, and more throughout Kingsway.
The Lion Dance Parade will make its way throughout Kingsway.
The lion dance is a traditional Chinese performance that occurs during Lunar New Year and other festivals, believed to bring good luck, prosperity, and drive away evil spirits for the upcoming year. The dance features performers dressed as lions, accompanied by the sound of drums, cymbals, and gongs.
