Events Description
Special guest Jessica Cottis conducts the ESO Premiere of fellow Australian Connor D’Netto’s piece uncertain planning, which was written with “gentle hope and burning determination” as the world began its recovery from the pandemic. Also, hear how Mendelssohn used inspiration from his travels to Britain to develop the memorable folk-like tunes and rhythms found in his famous “Scottish” symphony.
