Movies on the Square

Movies on the Square features free outdoor movies in the heart of downtown Edmonton. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the fabulous pre-movie entertainment before taking in the blockbuster hit that will be playing on a huge screen.

The fun doesn’t stop with the movies.

The event will kick off with a special performance by Robyn Ashley and the Square will be buzzing with a variety of activities for all ages
Be amazed by the incredible balloon creations of local artist Demmi Dupri
The Edmonton Public Library (EPL) will also be on hand with engaging activities to spark your imagination

Sonic the Hedgehog

Get ready to cheer on the blue blur as he battles the evil Dr. Robotnik and make new friends along the way.

The marathon will feature Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on the big screen.
