Kokopelli concerts explore ‘roots and wings’
A wise woman once said to me that there are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children. One of these she said is roots, the other, wings.

Kokopelli’s featured concert returns to the magical setting of West End Christian Reformed Church on Saturday, March 12. The musical theme is “Roots and Wings”—learning from those who have gone before us and forging a new path to the future.
Kokopelli and Òran will sing in both shows. The afternoon concert will also feature Kikimasu (ages 9–12), while Shumayela (ages 12-16) will perform at the evening show.
“We’re thrilled to be back at West End Christian Reformed,” says Kokopelli Artistic Director Scott Leithead. “It’s a warm, intimate space, and gives us so many creative options for staging, lighting, and sound. This venue is part of what makes Stories so special.”
Stories takes place at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at West End Christian Reformed Church (10015 149 Street). Attendance will be limited to allow adequate distancing, and masks will be required.
