The Strathearn Art Walk & Music Festival is a free, family friendly art and music festival. This annual celebration of the arts strives to bring out the best in our community by bringing people together to celebrate emerging and professional art and music, all with the scenic backdrop of our beautiful river valley and city skyline.
We are your neighbourhood home base for creativity and connection. Strathearn Art Walk & Music Festival is a free, family-friendly event that pops up along the river each year to celebrate all the unique voices in our city. We believe in community, we invite opportunity, and we strive to create an atmosphere of sustainable, long-lasting, meaningful connection.
We are a full-blown festival! Just as you thought the summer festival season was ending, we pop up every September with live music, food trucks, and a whole lot of fun. And of course, the main draw is the art! Stop by a tent, support a local artist, and find your new favourite piece!
We are the perfect weekend spot to enjoy the last warm days of summer with your whole family (pets included)! From little folks to the older and wiser, our park space is built for all the moments you need – to run, to jump, to pause, to rest. We also have accessible washrooms, diverse snack selections, and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. Come walk along the river, enjoy some art, and all the festivities with us this year!

Since our founding in 2012, the Strathearn Art Walk has grown from a small community league event into a city festival bringing in over 15,000 patrons in 2019.
