The Andrew Collins Trio brings virtuosic “chamber‑grass” fireworks to New Moon Folk Club, led by mandolin maestro Andrew Collins—one of Canada’s most celebrated acoustic musicians, with multiple JUNO nominations and Canadian Folk Music Awards to his name. Switching effortlessly between mandolin, mandola, mandocello, guitar, fiddle, and bass, Collins and bandmates Adam Shier and James McEleney bend and blend bluegrass, jazz, folk, Celtic, and classical into high‑energy tunes full of improvisation, tight harmonies, and playful onstage banter.
