First Set: Jesse Bird
Jessie Bird, from Camrose, Alberta, blends country and folk into heartfelt, emotional performances. A storyteller at heart, she has graced stages like the Edmonton Folk Fest in 2024, where she performed with the School of Song. A former Canadian Idol Season 4 Top 100 contestant, she’s a local favorite at Camrose’s Bailey Theatre. Jessie has opened for acts like Keith and Renee and shared stages with artists such as Ken Stead and Lily Monoghan. Her powerful vocals and vulnerability, compared to Joni Mitchell and Emmylou Harris, leave audiences deeply moved. She’s currently working on her debut EP, set for Spring 2025
