Walk for Valour

Lace up for Canadian heroes at the 2026 Walk for Valour in support of Valour Place!

Join us on Sunday, September 13, 2026, for a fun and meaningful 2.5 km or 5 km walk/run. Participate in person at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park in Edmonton or gather your friends, family, coworkers, or community group and walk from your own community anywhere in Canada.

Walk for Valour is the annual fundraiser for Valour Place, a home away from home that provides free accommodations for military members, Veterans, first responders, and their families who travel to Edmonton for medical treatment. Since opening in 2012, Valour Place has provided more than 34,000 nights of stay at no cost, helping families stay together when they need it most.

Whether you join us in Edmonton or walk with a team in your hometown, every step helps provide hope away from home for Canadian heroes and their families.
