Events Description

 

Visit at William A. Switzer Provincial Park during winter. Fun winter activities to do at the park include: Snowshoe, Cross Country Ski, Toboggan, Ice Fish, Winter Camp, Have a Campfire

During Saturdays and Sundays in January and February, you can:

  • Rent snowshoes
  • Borrow toboggans
  • Get trail information for hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, or fat biking
  • Find out where to winter camp
  • Buy firewood and have a campfire
  • Grab some hot chocolate or coffee for your adventure and browse the gift shop

Meet at Switzer Visitor Centre at 12 noon, for a guided 2 hour winter hike/snowshoe on select days.

Tickets : Free Admission

Rent snowshoes: $5/hr, $20/day, $40/family for a day

Park is open year round.

Switzer Visitor Centre Winter Activities/Rentals: 11am – 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays in January and February.

Meet at Switzer Visitor Centre at 12 noon, for a guided 2 hour winter hike/snowshoe on select days.

The Centre is located beside Kelley’s Bathtub Day Use Area, in the centre of the park.
