Events Description
Visit at William A. Switzer Provincial Park during winter. Fun winter activities to do at the park include: Snowshoe, Cross Country Ski, Toboggan, Ice Fish, Winter Camp, Have a Campfire
During Saturdays and Sundays in January and February, you can:
- Rent snowshoes
- Borrow toboggans
- Get trail information for hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, or fat biking
- Find out where to winter camp
- Buy firewood and have a campfire
- Grab some hot chocolate or coffee for your adventure and browse the gift shop
Meet at Switzer Visitor Centre at 12 noon, for a guided 2 hour winter hike/snowshoe on select days.

Tickets : Free Admission
Rent snowshoes: $5/hr, $20/day, $40/family for a day

Park is open year round.
Switzer Visitor Centre Winter Activities/Rentals: 11am – 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays in January and February.
