Events Description

International rugby returns to Edmonton this July as Rugby Canada Men’s 15s host two exciting match days at Clarke Stadium as part of the inaugural World Rugby Nations Cup.

On July 4, Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team takes on Spain in the opening match of the tournament. The action continues on July 11 with an international double-header featuring Canada vs Portugal and Tonga vs Spain.

The World Rugby Nations Cup features Rugby World Cup-qualified nations competing for valuable World Ranking points on the road to Rugby World Cup 2027, making this one of the biggest international sporting events coming to Edmonton this summer.

Fans can also join Rugby Canada for a free Try Rugby Day & Rugby Canada Fan Fest on July 5 from 1:00 PM–3:00 PM at Clarke Stadium. The family-friendly event will feature Team Canada player appearances, rugby activities, interactive activations, and opportunities to learn more about the sport and connect with the local rugby community.

Whether you’re a lifelong rugby fan or experiencing the game for the first time, this is your chance to support Team Canada and experience world-class international rugby right here in Edmonton.
