Events Description
Alpine Club of Canada Edmonton Section’s Ice wall.
Built to promote the sport of ice climbing to the Edmonton Area and service existing local ice climbers. We offer introductions to ice climbing that are available to all and require no prior experience.
Who is it for?
All ages – No minimum participant age. Suggested minimum age is 10. Mainly due to physical limitations. Independently being able to hammer a nail into a wood block is a good yardstick for a child’s ability to ice climb.
New to Ice Climbing: If you have no experience with ice climbing, we got you covered! No prerequisites are required.
Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Waiver must be signed by parent or guardian
Participants must be a minimum of 14 years old to belay.
