About River Lifestyle Co
River Lifestyle Co offers a family-friendly river tubing experience on the North Saskatchewan River based out of Voyageur Park in Devon, Alberta.
- Services include: Rentals: One river tube, life jacket and paddle. We also provide tether straps free of charge as children 4 to 10 must be tethered to an adult tube.
- Float Option #1: This route starts at Voyageur Park and finishes at the Devon Lions campground, where transportation is provided back to Voyageur Park.
- Float Option #2: This float Starts at a private property location about 15 minutes out of Devon and finishes at the Devon Lions Campground with the option of exiting at Voyageur Park in Devon. This float option takes between 2 and 3 hours depending on water levels and weather conditions. Age Requirement 6 and up. Float 2 options will be shuttled to the start location from Voyageur Park to start the float. Transportation is provided back to Voyageur Park.
- As summer progresses this time frame will increase as the river levels drop.
Who all are allowed?
Age requirements are 4 and up (at least 30 lbs)
6 & up for 3 hour float
If parent/ guardian is not floating minimum age without a parent is 16.
When to visit River Lifestyle Co for River Float
Devon Float Hours:
Operates from Mid June to Mid September, depending on water levels.
Opening for the 2023 season on June 10th.
Short Float: Available daily between 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Long Float: Operates 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Time required to visit:
The float takes between 1 hour and 1.5 hours based on river level for Voyageur Park to Devon Lions campground float and 2 and 3 hours for Riverside RV Park to Devon Lions Campground float.
How much does it cost to rent from River Lifestyle Co?
Rental Cost:
Voyageur Park to Devon Lions Campground: Adult Tube: $25.00; Child Tube: $20.00
Private Location to Devon Lions Campground: Adult tube: $35.00; Child Tube: $30.00
A 20% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. This deposit is non refundable, unless it is cancelled by the company due to poor weather or river conditions.

Once at Voyageur Park, we are located through the top parking lot near the bike park and following the road that runs parallel to the river.

Can we bring our own tubes
So are you only paying for the tubes?
Myself, hubby and our 2 teens thought this would be a great way to spend our afternoon. Unfortunately, 2 mins into the 4 us floating, my daughters tube got punctured by a sharp stick in the river. We were instructed to stay to the right side of the river as we did the entire time. Good thing we were all tethered and our daughter could stay afloat with our group because there is no safe place to get off your tubes and exit the river, until you come to the actual exit point. The ladies apologized but didnt offer a refund/discount. The lady told me there’s an inner tube in the case that your tube is punctured of which there is no inner tube. Had this incident happened to a smaller child it could be a worse outcome. We don’t recommend this company.
