Visit the National Award Winning, Internationally acclaimed and one of Canada’s only privately run Botanical Gardens and see why Whistling Gardens was recently voted as one of Canada’s Best Botanical Gardens. Explore nearly 20 acres where you can view over 4,500 different plants.

Spring… thru mid June… Celebrate the spring blooms with incredible displays of Peonies and Iris. Magnolia, Red Bud and many other flowering trees add to the magical renewal!

Summer – July, Mid August… 1,000’s of summer blooms reveal their beauty with Red Hot Poker, Foxtail Lily, Blanket Flower, Echinacea, Aruncus, Lilies, Day Lilies and more…

Fall… Enjoy the changing of the season when annuals are at their peak, Fall perennials Echinacea, Black Eyed Susan, Aster Blanket Flower, Ornamental Grasses plus much more!

Fountain Amphitheatre – An all stone open-air amphitheatre complete with a backdrop of nearly 90 fountains. The granite stage walls and outer wings are over 400 feet and surrounded by gardens inside and out. Three individual 80 foot staircase fountains meet behind the stage.

Each season, a composition is especially written for the fountain program. Darren works with state of the art digital technology in his home studio to do most of the creative writing, editing, mixing and mastering. The latest in computer technology runs the fountain program. Have a break while touring through the gardens in the water theatre!

Children (ages 4 and under): FREE

Thursday is Seniors Day, those 60+ receive $2.00 off regular admission with proof of age from May through September. Seniors Day changes to Friday in October.

General Admission does not include ticketed or 3rd party events.

Fountain Schedule

Daytime Musical Fountain Show starts May 16th offering daily performances until September 13th.

Fountain Programs run twice daily on weekdays | 11:15 am and 1:45 pm

Saturday and Sunday | 11:15 am, 1:00 pm and 2:45 pm

Festival of Fountains: Fridays & Saturdays, August 28 – September 26, 2026

Program run time approximately 6 minutes.
