Events Description
Start the racing season in spectacular style at the Victoria Day Weekend Spectacular, one of the biggest annual events at Toronto Motorsports Park. This high-energy weekend is packed with action for car lovers, racing fans, and thrill-seekers.
Headlining the event is the John Scotti NHRA National Open, featuring Canadian National Championship competition across seven NHRA classes: Stock/Super Stock, Top Dragster/Sportsman, Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Street, Sportsman Motorcycle, and JR Dragster.
Fan favorite Rick Ream returns with his legendary 1950 Bullet Nose Studebaker Firetruck, racing down the track on two wheels with sirens, sparks, flashing lights, and fireworks.
For even more power, Neale Armstrong unleashes his 300-mph Jet Dragster, powered by a real F-5 fighter jet engine in a blast of flames and thunder.
The weekend also features a vintage drag racing showcase curated by John Reid and Aaron Reid, highlighting classic A/Gas and AA/Gas hot rods, plus a four-car Nostalgia Funny Car match race for a dose of true old-school drag racing.
