Ashley MacIsaac is an acclaimed Canadian fiddler known for his fiery Cape Breton style, blending traditional Celtic music with contemporary influences. Born in Nova Scotia in 1975, he rose to international prominence with his 1995 album Hi™, featuring the hit single “Sleepy Maggie.” Celebrated for his energetic live performances and innovative arrangements, MacIsaac has collaborated with artists across genres, from folk to rock. He has received multiple Juno Awards and has performed on stages worldwide, including festivals in Europe, North America, and beyond. His music honours tradition while pushing the boundaries of the Cape Breton fiddle.
