Events Description
Experience the creative spirit of historic Britannia Village during this one-day community arts crawl! Discover local visual artists, musicians, photographers, and makers as you wander through a charming neighbourhood filled with vibrant talent and artistic expression.
The Crawl will be a unique and special event this year. In parallel with Ottawa’s celebration of the 200th anniversary of the start of Bytown, we will be adding actors playing interactive, historical characters from the history of Britannia. They will be stationed at some of the many heritage houses in Britannia, highlighting the beautiful art of architecture the Village features. Kichi Sibi Ancient Trails and an Indigenous performer will represent that much older, Indigenous history of the region – including Britannia being a convergence of 5 Indigenous trails!
We are very proud and excited to host these performers, and – as always – all the wonderful artists and musicians! We are thrilled to invite you all to attend!
Our theme this year is Celebrate Britannia – and Bytown’s 200th!
