Let’s celebrate the cultural diversity that enriches us all, and reaffirm our commitment to equity, inclusion and mutual respect. Canada Day is an opportunity to strengthen the ties that bind us as we continue along the path to reconciliation and a better future.

Activities include:

  • Interactive activities for all including: Canada’s Climbing Tower, Community-Engaged Mural Painting, Giant Bubbles Workshop, 360 Video Booth at Lebreton Flats Park, Boler Photobooth, Canadian Character Photobooth Transformation, Collection Sport Card, Flag Day Photo Opportunity, Live Painting Photobooth, Makeover Studio, Medicine Wheel Bracelet Making, The Celebrate Canada Space, Loud and Proud!, The Loop, Dance Floor, Outdoor screening of short films, Preshow with DJ Miss Shelton.

Canada Day shuttle bus

OC Transpo (OCT) and the Société de transport de l’Outaouais (STO) offer free bus service throughout the day of July 1. Several free parking spaces are available at park-and-ride locations (parc-o-bus), in Ottawa and Gatineau.
