Events Description
Carine Au Micro is a Montréal-based, Benin-born soul artist whose bold musical signature blends contemporary soul with vibrant African sounds. She fell in love with music as a child, influenced by her parents—especially her mother—and cut her teeth as a performer in Europe (France, 1998), where she collaborated with rising voices on the local scene.
When she arrived in Quebec in 2004, Carine joined the Imani Gospel Singers, a stepping stone into Montréal’s music community. In 2013, she performed in The Mahalia Jackson Musical at Montréal’s Segal Centre, alongside JUNO Award–winning jazz artist Ranee Lee. This collaboration was a turning point in Carine’s career.
