Events Description
Join us for a weekend filled with activities including guided tours, art making, refreshments and more!
- Paint in the Studio: Inspired by the exhibition Winter Count: Embracing the Cold, join us in the Studio to experiment with paint as you create your own celebration of winter. More information on Open Studio.
- Join a Family Tour: Families are invited to join gallery staff for a special family tour of Winter Count: Embracing the Cold. Together, you will dive into the many ways artists have explored winter, as you think about your own connections to the season. More information on family tours.
- Explore Interactive Spaces: How does your family relate to winter? The interactive space at the end of the Winter Count exhibition includes winter-themed books, an artmaking activity, hands-on materials, and videos sharing what winter is like for people across the country.
- The Inspiration Space located on the Gallery’s ground level, also offers self-directed hands-on activities, cozy spots to unwind, and creative stations to spark your imagination.
- Visit the Galleries Together: Test your observational skills with the surprising in-gallery activity, “What Colour is Snow?” It is not always white!
